Hi All I happened to look on the OcUK Store ,and i saw 2 Dell 20 Inch tft Monitors
Dell E207WFP 20-inch Widescreen Flat Panel LCD &
Dell UltraSharp™ 2007WFP 20.1" Widescreen LCD

What is the difference between them apart from the price ?

The E207WFP is a TN Film based "budget" version without some of the extra inputs. The 2007WFP is the normal S-IPS/S-PVA based model with all the extras :)

It says that it has 16ms Response Time, is this correct ? seems slightly high ?

16ms is the ISO black > white transition. LG.Philips (who make the S-IPS panel most commonly used) rate the panel as 8ms G2G, but Dell have choosen not to advertise this for some reason. See here :)

thxs for the info ..loks a nice monitor, but would you still put The Viewsonic VX2025WM at the top of the tree ? as i,ve seen you seem to say this a lot ,which after reading about it i agree ,it does seem to have the edge on others ,and i read a review of Toms Hardware, which he stated it was the best 20inch tft monitor at the mo .... :)

it depends a bit on what you're going to use the screen for?

yes thiss is true, well i,m rreally into dvds and not much of a gamer ,and wanted the better res for widescreen films etc ...

in that case the P-MVA panel of the VS is more suited to movie playback than the Dell 2007WFP. The Dell is a little lacking in terms of black depth, and movie playback is comparatively noisy.

Anybody have the E207WFP and have any feedback on it?

Seriously tempted by one of these, only christmas stopped me ordering a 2007WFP when they were cheaper, but seeing the price of these, maybe they were worth waiting for?

Would be used for Windows, Internet browsing and a bit of gaming. I'm not the kind of person who notices ghosting or slow response as long as it's not chronic.

[Edit] From what I can see on tftcentral (cool site btw Baddass), the only drawback to TN that I can see is the viewing angles, and the chance of an annoying stuck pixel? But it gives good response times? Sounds too good to be true for the price surely? :)
