Dell Inspiron 1525 Network Controller Driver

I have been given a friends Dell Inspiron 1525 to fix as they said 'the internet isn't working'. I have had a look around and under device manager there is no driver for the network controller. I have had a look on dell's website and they have 3 network drivers, one for the bluetooth, one for the Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN MiniCard and one for the Marvell 88E80XX 10/100 Ethernet Controller. The network controller is listed under 'unknown devices' in device manager so I am unsure which driver to install. I would prefer to install the driver direct from device manager as all the other drivers seem to be functioning properly. Does anyone know which driver I should use?

Is the connection that is not working over wifi or is it when a physical network cable is connected to the machine?

If it is the former then you need the Wireless 1395 WLAN driver, if it's the latter then you need the Marvell driver.

Check the Hardware ID in device manager and see what manufacturer it is.

Or just download them all and trial and error
