I have the 17" version of this that has the i7 3630 & GT 650M and I'm very happy with it. Paid £666 and it gives me stacks of performance. For £529 I think that's a lot of laptop for the money. If you're going to be editing a lot of HD video an i7 might be worth it as the i5 processors in laptops are all dual core, this was another factor in me getting the 17R-SE-7720. I 'downgraded' to W7 and stuck in an SSD and it makes a big difference.
