Dell Inspiron 640 (express card slot)

well bought this laptop summer 2007.
It has an express card slot i just noticed.

er, urmmm , *cough* whats it for ?

newer PCMCIA style slot, i have one too. i presume its there because most chipsets are using a pci-express bus and capable of more than PCMCIA is able to offer, so they put express card 34/54 slots. which is good i guess

yeh but what can i stick in it ? lol

yeh i looked on wiki and nothing exciting.
it did mention some support of 1394 and usb2 wich my laptop already has.
did say you could stick flash memory in so maybe that would be useful.
nothing to see and move along as they say huh.
