Hi guys,

I cannot seem to find a way to change the sensitivity of my Laptop.

The issue I have is that when im typing a document and my palm goes over the touch pad quite often it thinks im clicking the touch pad and my cursor clicks off the page.

any idea on how I change this? its a DELL e6510

If it uses the Synaptics touchpad driver you can go to Control Panel > Mouse and you should see a tab called "Device Settings" with the Synaptics logo on. In there you have an option called PalmCheck where you can adjust the sensitivity of the touchpad while typing.

The touch pads on the latitude models are ridiculously sensitive. There is no dell supported program either. They always claim that the latest driver reduces the sensitivity but it's still far too sensitive.

So is synaptics my best option? is there any other software I could try and install or will nothing improve this issue?
