Hi guys,

Is £213 inc for 2nd hand in good nick DELL Inspiron 1720 17" Laptop good price?

I guess it's okay for general web surfing and watching films. not sure about games though but i guess something like warcraft 3 will run fine.

I be wanting to be around 170 for that spec , especially with taking a risk with that nvidia 8400 just google nvidia defect.

Same laptop as i'm using now (although I have 3gb RAM and a 8600 GT), I haven't played games on it for a while, I think the last would be Portal/HL2 with mid/high settings. The screen is nice, it has a good build quality and it's good that it doesn't have vista on it like mine did when I bought it (learned the hard way

back to XP). The down point would be the battery, i've had this for over 3 years now and the battery will last just over an hour.

I got the laptop

Like new

i installed win 7 64bit. seems ok for web and films so far

Can i install more ram? found some on ebay. shall i add extra 4 meg?
$loth. shall i enable multi core support in the bios, and dynamic acceleration?
