Dell Laptops - Vista Versions

Just a quick question, I've recently ordered a laptop from the dell outlet, and it's coming with Vista SP1.

Will this come in 32 or 64bit? If it's 32 am I right in assuming I can use my Vista 64 disk I have already and the dell key to upgrade it to 64? Also will this affect the fingerprint reader and the like? Or will that still be usuable without a dell install?

It'll come with 32-bit, but you can look on the Dell support website and see if the appropriate drivers and applications for the system are available in 64-bit versions.
