Hi all,

I have a bit of an issue :(

I purchased a dell latitude 5330 off ebay a couple of months back, to be fair it was in excellent condition, booted no issues, was extremely well looked after , not a mark on it

I used it maybe a hand full of times , the rest of the time it was sat in a cover on my home desk

I had brought it in to work today to load some software on it, after getting it out the cover and trying to power on, nothing. No lights, no power activity, no fan etc

I'm going to leave it on charge for abit to see if it brings it in to life

It does have dell warranty on it, however i don't have the original purchase receipt other than ebay.

If i have to go through dell warrenty to fix, what will they touch/not touch ? and is it likely ill be able to get it repaired?

Edit, we have managed to get it to power on, but only by removing the rear, taking the battery out, testing it without the battery, no power, plugging battery back in, we have power and it boots in to windows 11

tried 2 x power supplies for this laptop, no charge

this looks like a faulty USB C charge module

will they sort that under warrenty?

the motherboard seems ok, but the charge module on the board (power module) which has 2 x USB C charge ports appear to be the issue here

We have tried 2 x power supplies, and 1 x docking station, none of them charge the laptop
