Dell Latitude D610

I've spent most of the morning attmepting to install the drivers for the inbuilt wireless card in this latitude D610 however it just refuses to.

Ive downloaded the drivers from the website and tried but no joy, even disabling the bluetooth didnt make any difference (colleague suggested this).

I'm absolutely stumped, anyone got any ideas?

Are you sure you're trying to use the right drivers? The D610 can have one of a few different wireless cards in it.

yea just realised, the dell site says it has a 2200 or a 2915 card in it but i put in the resource cd and its telling me something completely different.

Yeah, they're not my favourite company at the moment either. Still, I get the pleasure of telling them that their general crapness has just cost them a £200k/year account.

Unfortunately small change to them, we have just spent 5 times that in an end of financial year "quick get rid of the money" panic :eek:
