The other day my Dell m1730 wouldn't boot for some reason.
On attempting to reinstall windows I find the installation can't find the hard disks.
This machine has 2x200GB drives in RAID0. I have tried deleting and setting the raid several times with no joy, tried turning raid off to no effect. Have tried physically removing the drives also doesn't help.
Drives seem to be detected fine in BIOS and the raid utility, but when I install windows, XP says no disks detected, and WIN7 just chucks an error code saying it can't create a partition.
Any ideas??
