Hi,

One of the machines i use for Folding @ Home uses a P4 3.4 650 on a Dell motherboard as it's a Dell system, i noticed that in one of the last bios updates it included support for Dual core processors, now i want to replace that CPU for a Dual core, which CPU's do you guys think will slot in and work???

I'd say that you'd be limited to the Smithfield core P4 Dual cores.
