I have a dell XPS where the PSU went bang on it as they do. I ordered a new PSU only to find the fittings are custom to Dell, so you can't use any other PSU with the case as the screw holes don't align.

I decided to order a new case. Only to find when stripping out the motherboard that the front panel headers are well.... not quite normal!

It's one big long strip and has a custom cable from the case.

Is there anything I can do to modify this in anyway. How is it possible to hook up the front panel connectors to a new case?

P.S. I deteste Dell. Just another reason why no one should ever ever ever!!! buy an OEM computer... EVER!!!

Unfortunately the way it mounted, drilling new holes wouldn't have been an option. It never sat right. Big massive gap and just... it was a mess. If I could have drilled new holes I would have.

I have put a request in for a cheap 775 board in the MM. I'll swap out the mobo as well and burn the Dell one!!!
