Hope people don’t mind another Outlet thread…

But anyways I’m very intrigued by the different system specs between the Inspiron, studio and the XPS machines, I know each are different but most have the “similar” spec. So I propose we create a little list of how well each Laptop performs.

I’m expecting my machine by the weekend so I’l post up the marks…. I propose we all use? I'm not the worlds most avid benchmarker so suggestions would be great:

* Prime 95
* PC mark 07 @ http://www.pcmark.com/benchmarks/pcmark7

However if there is anything else you think would best test then let me know. Lets try and keep the thread clean and only for scores (plenty of other threads for outlet/XPS discussions.

So reply with:

Not clocked, must be turbocore kicking in during benchmark. As a note to that bench before, it has got my SSD I had lying around thrown in as a OS drive and all Dells bloat gone with a fresh install.

Post your link up to the test, Ive got an SSD in mine but doubt it makes that much difference, around 500 points, maybe something didnt kick in right on the benchmark.
Think the average for a your specs is around 3100-3200 the ssd boosted my score up and thats all, plus you have more ram but mine is registering as running at 667 in the bench also?
Also fresh installed and removed all the dell bloat but doubt thats gonna make such a difference.

Infact I think I found your Bench on the website, just compared them and you it seems that yours is slightly faster in some tasks but loses out on storage, am sure its still to low as most of these seem to get 3100ish, maybe re run it and make sure you have nothing running in the background etc.
