Dell Outlet - No Order Confirmation?

As you've probably read I've just bought my first laptop, an M1530 from the Dell Outlet.

I ordered it early Saturday morning, and haven't received any email confirmation or shipping details. I'm assuming that due to the nature of the outlet that I will receive an email manually when it's shipped.

I just wanted to confirm this with anyone else who has bought from the outlet.

Thanks

I ordered mine on a Monday, they sent me a confirmation on Thursday and then I received an e-mail about dell finance or something on the Sunday. I found the numbers you need to check the status online and discovered it had been sent on the Sunday, and it arrived the next day I think.

I am struggling to see the point in buying from the Outlet when after adding on VAT and delivery the price is not that different from new, where you can choose colours for free atm.

My laptop - £700 delivered

Same spec laptop from the main site - £1,069. Can he be had now with a £100 discount, still I saved over £200. Also, if you don't like the colour, wait till one you do like arrives.

£200 is a lot of money for me, not sure about you, but I'd say it's well worth it.

You can probably find a decent deal on there for £500, not from the XPS line though.

Anyway, still not received any form of confirmation of my order, just wanting to check it's all gone though really, this usual? Andi's post is reassuring though.

I got my XPS for £434 quid, same spec from the site was £650.

The outlet store has some bargains, my XPS M1330 was £600 from there at easter, top spec which at the time meant over £1000 from the normal store, and the only difference to brand new was an outlet sticker on the bottom.:D
