Dell P991 or Iiyama Pro 513 CRT?

Friends offering to sell me Dell P991 CRT (black) since he now has LCD, i could use another crt monitor so how good is it? Heard something about them been re-badged Sony monitors which could never be a bad thing i guess? Also been offerd Iiyama Vision Master Pro 513 CRT by he's flatmate just to add to the mix.

Any advice welcome.

The P991 is a 19" trinitron tube and it's fantastic, I gave one away about 2 years ago and wish I still had it as a spare screen, the 513 is a 22" (20" viewable) Diamondtron screen and to be honest, even though it's larger I don't rate the IQ against the Dell (I still have one sitting on my desk I can't seem to flog )

Use Iiyama pro455 myself and tbh find it does the job, with Mitsubishi Diamond (something or other) as alt monitor allthough im not too keen on that one hence the above^

Two minty Dell 17" 990 CRT Ultrascan Trinitron Monitor for my little brothers to replace poor old IIyama 1403's. Two minty Dell 19" P991's Ultrascan Trinitron Monitors for me and a nice immaculate IIyama 513 for my eldest bro to replace old relic IIyama thats so old i cant even recall model number lol. One from E3@y and rest via word of mouth, not bad for a days work.

Much as i would like update to new tech; for money i got this little lot for would have been stupid to turn down the chance.
