Dell Premium Panel Guarantee, scratched?

Slight query, if I was ever to attempt to gain a replacement for my monitor via Dell Premium Panel Guarantee, would they throw a fit about a scratch on the screen? Its basically 1cm long and no wider than a hair, impossible to see unless against a solid light colour backgroud, plus it was done in a way that couldn't possibly have caused damage to the panel, but I'm worried I may have to have a battle with them if I ever needed the screen replacing.

Anyone have any experience of this situation or advice? Don't like worrying about it lol.
 
Dell will replace the screen usually next business day if in stock. And a couple of days later arrange with you to collect the faulty screen from your place. If the screen is more than 30 days old you will likely get a refurbished model as a replacement. Sometimes this can result in the latest revision model in perfect condition (happened me once), sometimes not and you could get one with a bright pixel or slight cosmetic damage. But you can keep returning them until you are happy.

As regards your situation where you have a scratch and not a bright/stuck pixel, I know 2 people in the exact same situation with ultrasharps who worked the premium pixel guarantee to their advantage. They basically fibbed that they had stuck pixels and there was no questions asked.
