I have just received my Vostro 1700 and chose to have Vista Business on there (just so I would have an authentic Vista key should I need to sell it etc, I have personal MSDN keys for myself).
If I install Linux or XP will it wipe the Dell splashscreen when you boot, and if so will one of the many discs I received be able to put it back on? This is the one to access the recovery partition.
Not that I'm hugely bothered, Fedora is going on there anyway, I just wondered how Grub would (if at all) affect it all.
