Dell Rep LOL

The only thing good about dell are the monitors and the warranty on the monitors other than that I wouldnt touch them with a barge pole.

Do you think it may be down to thier sales reps having no knowledge of the stuff they are selling or the industry at all?

I think it's because they are such a big OEM company they don't need to rely on sales so much, they can put the price of the U3011 to £1200 because they know they WILL get sales from wealthy people.

The sales person I talked to had to look up the monitor I was asking about, they must do good deals I think they start the ball very high but you have to be persistent and keep calling. Maybe they can only do so many deals and they are so popular the early birds got their first and now they have no headroom for lowering the price.

Dell are amazing with warranty but it could be an hour on the phone getting transferred and mucked around to get it. I blame the outsourced call centres. I hate my ISP as it has total monopoly but their call centre is second to none and in house.
