Hey guys,

I currently have the Dell S2716DG and pretty happy with it, had it about 3 years now and been looking at the new monitors and soooo many that its hard to tell if any are better.

So just wondering if you guys have any recommendations that might be better than the Dell S2716DG?

P.S
I play competitive games a lot of the time as well as single players so i need something with at least 1ms response time so most IPS monitors are out, but there has been a lot of new monitors so maybe i'm wrong on that.

just buy a calibrator

your monitor should be fine for years to come

I had a look at them, i played around with the settings because the out of box settings sucked but i'm not very good with these things so probably not got it as good as it should. Any recommendations of the best calibrator? don't wanna spend a bomb!

X-Rite i1Display Pro - Professional display calibration

It's amazing how people want to spend £500+ on a monitor yet look at a terrible picture in terms of quality. Use DisplayCAL with the above, don't use the bundled software.

Do you have any experience with the Datacolor Spyder5?
