Dell S2721DGF Vesa issue

Hi wondered if anyone might have any suggestions my monitor arrived but wont fit onto my monitor arm. the vesa mount is deep into the back of the monitor so i can slide the monitor onto the arm do i need a new arm? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0757KX24T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Put some spacers and use longer screws?

Had a similar issue with my Dell S3221QS. Spacers is definitely an option, I opted to half-hang the 2 top screws, carefully slide the hanger on the arm, then fully fasten everything. Somewhat similar to what this guy is doing here at 2:27: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acj0glAME8c

My monitor arm came with a selection of different sized spacers and screws, definitely the best option
