Dell S3220DGF or Samsung 32CHG70

Im finally choosing between two models for gaming:
Dell S3220DGF
Samsung 32CHG70

Would like to know:
1. Do have problems with screen flickering or some other issues using G-Sync?
2. Which one should have sharper text clarity and image overall?
3. Is possible to set only sRGB mode or will be forced to use oversaturated wide gammut colors?

Wide gamut is unlikely to be problem in gaming, unless game itself produces heavily saturated output.
In most games it just produces more lively looking picture...

At least that Samsung uses that split pixel layout, which causes clear text clarity issues. (scroll down lot)

They have tested 27" CHG70, but I hope the text clarity would be identical.
Can be overally sayed IPS panel have sharper image than VA?

I've had an S3220DGF, and if the FPS falls too low the brightness seemed to change creating a flickering type effect with Freesync. It's also present if the FPS goes above the Freesync range, but this can be prevented with a cap.

Black smear was present, but wasn't unbearable for me.

Cap you mean CRU (Custom resolution utility)?
Overally you would choose this monitor without concern or buy the one with G-Sync compatibility approval?

I meant cap the FPS using v-sync or in game fps limiters where available.

It's a good monitor, but if G-Sync is a feature you really want then I'd definitely recommend going for a monitor that's marked as compatible.
