Hi people, I recently ordered this monitor (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-031-DE), it arrived this morning from OcUK and seem to have a problem.
I set it up using the DVI connection and booted up. All looked good except I had to change it to its native res. Native res at 2048x1152 and it was at this point the monitor started freaking out, the screen kept flashing blank constantly for about 3 mins. It was almost as if it was constantly changing res but it wasnt. It settled down after about 3 mins but since then it still seems to be doing it, although only once every 5/10/random mins.
I changed the connection to VGA and that seemed to work fine, no strange behaviour for the short time I was testing it, although the quality was a lot worse
I then changed back to DVI and it was up to its old tricks again.
Does anyone have a clue what might be happening here? All the plug connections are properly secured and im guessing it cant be a power supply issue as it wouldnt have turned on at all if it didnt have enough.
Dont fancy going through the trouble of RMA`ing it so if anyone has any insight id appreciate it
Chris
