Dell ST2410 24" or Samsung SM2433BW 24"?

Samsung SM2433BW 24" - £212.99

Looking to upgrade one of my 20" monitors to a 24" monitor. Without seeing monitors in person its hard to tell which is the better one.

For those that have either of these monitors, which one is best for gaming and why?

I currently have 2 Samsung SyncMaster 206bw's.

Thanks for the post. £150 does sound too good to be true. Can't really ignore it at that price.

Both monitors work fine. I just want something bigger.

Bought the Dell from their website. Price went up to £159.

Delivery date says 13/01/2010... are they usually this slow with delivery?

Damn. I go back to work on the 11th. I have all next week off and thought "great, I'll be in all week for my monitor."

Monitor got shipped yesterday and now the delivery date is scheduled for the 6th.

Initial impression... its big!
second impression...games look waaaay better that my samsung!
third impression... I want another one now.

I've still to mess around with the settings but I am very pleased with the monitor considering it was only £150!

Just PC use. I have 42" Sony Bravia for my ps3.

Robert1986 how are you finding the monitor? Any complaints with it at all?

No complaints so far. Can't recommend this screen enough at the price it is.

Any negatives whatsoever? My 19" Hanns-G has just started randomly switching itself off and I'm looking for a new all-rounder.

You can't mount it. Thats the only negative I can think of for this monitor.
