Dell Studio 15 Mdeia Bar stuck. :(

My Dell Studio 15 has this media bar thing above the keyboard, and it's a pain in the arse. As soon as I boot up Vista the bar thinks I'm holding down the volume up sensor and the sensor lights up, the voume raising to max. This means the audio is FAR too loud.. which makes the audio absolutely useless until it "unsticks" itself 20 minutes later. I've installed Ubuntu and have no problems with it on that, it works perfectly...

I'm tearing my hair out over this, I've updates all my drivers with no success.

I was reading some forums about this model laptop last week and its a known fault with lots of people having issues with the touch media buttons on this model (especially the volume and eject buttons) with them activating when they shouldn't

Supposedly Dell haven't really admitted to the issue though and the suggestions on how to fix it don't always work. have a read around over here (theres a long thread in that forum)

Did put me off getting one.
