I'm a student and I'm looking to get a laptop for around £400-£600. I want something that will cope happily with photoshop inside of general everyday multitasking.
I kind of narrowed down my search and was pretty contented on getting a dell studio 15 specced out to around £600 but then saw an offer on a Medion S5610, that is arguably a better spec, at around two hundred pounds less at a supermarket.
Is there any disadvantage in going with the cheap make that I'd never heard of rather than the, seemingly more expensive, well known brand?
And why do I feel so awkward at the idea of buying a laptop from a supermarket?!
Thanks
