Hi all,
Unfortunately I've dropped my Studio 1747 and smashed the screen. Fortunately the laptop seems to be running fine when plugged into a monitor so the only damage appear to be to the screen, although the plastic around the frame is a little out of shape.
I've been looking around online and can find replacement screens for this laptop for about £70.
How feasible is it for me to be able to replace the screen by myself as I'd rather not waste money on paying someone else to do it if its a straight forward job.
Would http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_FtMr_40-w be a good reference?
