The wife had QVC on this morning and on came a feature for the Dell Studio Hybrid. After watching the presentation it left me somewhat confused about what market Dell was going for with this unit. They claim it is a Desktop with a sexy small form factor. Well I can't deny it does look dinky but at the end of the day it is nothing more than a Notebook chassis in a different case - Dell don't even deny this.
Personally I think it is quite expensive at around £600 and not particularly well spec'd, it even has integrated graphics. Lets be honest the real advantage of a Desktop is lots of power, lots of RAM, large capacity hard drives, great graphics and most important of all easy upgrade-ability - all the things the Hybrid is not?
