Dell studio & Win7

Got a new laptop, its a Dell studio that came with windows 7 installed and a OEM cd of windows 7

My question is should it have came with the cd key/licence sticker on the bottom of the laptop? as it doesn't have one and i'm thinking without that i wont be able to do a fresh install of windows as i need the key from that sticker.

Can i just call dell and ask for one or is it not needed as its a oem copy?

You wont need the key to install a fresh copy no.

Check behind the battery for the sticker.

I freaked out too but you don't need it and it's under the battery
