Dell support failure

I have recently been complaining to Dell about my M1330 notebook (the screen has gone up the spout)-

Their online chat NEVER works.

Talking on the phone is impossible because the person on the other end of the phone does not understand basic english.

Upon emailing them I eventually received a reply after 3 attempts- at which point I clarify the problem and now they have not replied again since 5 days ago. I'm basically being ignored- what's my best plan of attack now? Can I not threaten legal action if they do not reply within say 7 days?

It's ridiculous that such a company can just ignore it's customers.
 
Just as in "just today"?

I've been trying everyday for the past week, so about 100 times clicking on dell online chat.

Everytime just get the same "no-one is available" screen.
 
I have no idea what to do then- It is impossible for me to get through with the online chat (have tried different computers / internet connections).


I emailed yesterday using the "unresolved customer service" issues link- but I have not had a reply - which seems pathetic considering they state "will contact you within 1 business day".

They are ignoring me- not sure what my next course of action should be? :(
