Hi all, I've never used the card reader on my monitor before. I thought it would be a case of just plugging in the usb cable, pushing in the card and see it come up as a seperate drive ... but I get nothing at all. Anybody know how to set this up properly

I installed all the Dell software ages ago but I cannot see anywhere an application for the USB or card reader .. I thought it would just show up in "My Computer" as a drive .. but nope nothing ..

I checked out the driver and it is up to date. There is no seperate driver for the card reader either. I've looked at Dell's help page and both cables need to be plugged in ... now I've just bought two new USB cables just for this card reader and now I'm thinking that the cables need to be of a certain type as quoted in the help section ie: plug in both the "uplink" and "downlink" cables as provided with your monitor ... I can't find mine.
I then read a reply from a Dell support team that the cables are not standard USB ..... hence not being able to read from the card reader !!!! :(

ok just popped mine in picked it up instantly registered within a second on the my pc drives screen.

showed all files etc as it should

make sure the contacts face the back of the screen
