Dell U2410 - Hours Of Use From OSD ?

Hi,

Is it possible to find out the hours of use for a Dell U2410 monitor from the OSD menus ?

I have checked the online manual but cannot find anything on it and wondered if any of the Dell U2410 owners could check to see if this information is available?

yep, via the factory menu section. cant remember off hand how to get into that section on the U2410 but a google around should return you some instructions on buttons to hold

Ah, does that mean it is in some type of service menu that is not available via the OSD menus, ie, it is some type of engineers menu not visible via normal operation of the menus?

I will have a google on it, thx for the help, most appreciated.

yeah, but there's a way to enable it i'm sure, just cant remember the exact button pressing combo for the U2410

If I find out the button strokes I will post it up on the forum, its probably a useful bit of info that U2410 owners might like to view.

If I remember correctly you can access the service menu by turning the monitor off, then holding down the second and fourth button (from the top) whilst also holding the power button. The LEDs should start lighting up - once they are all on press the top button and hopefully that should work. A bit complicated and I probably got it wrong - haven't used the U2410 for a while.
