Well Ive had my Dell U2410 for 3 years now and always thought it was a fairly decent monitor for gaming... that was until I went to a mates house who had an illyama monitor.
I play a few fighting games but mainly Street fighter IV and the accuracy at which I could do combos on the illyama was much better. On the DELL your fighting blind to get 1 or 2 frame link combo... but on the illyama you can actually see what your doing with precision.
The Dells gaming mode only makes things slightly better its still not good enough IMO. BTW, the response rate is 40ms in standard mode not 6ms as listed by OC here.

So im thinking of getting a new monitor for hardcore gaming usage...any recommendations ?
