Dell U2414H issue?

Hey folks,

Recently got a U2414H with a new build. Generally everything has been fine, however on a number of occasions after the computer has come out of standby the Dell flashes on and off (each for 2 or 3 seconds) when it is displaying the picture it is all interlaced and not clear. The only way I've found to reset it is to reboot. The 2nd monitor which is my old Samsung 2253LW isn't affected and just sits there working fine!

The Dell is the main monitor connect via the mini DP, the Samsung is connected via DVI. On boot up only the Samsung shows the post until windows loads and the Dell then takes over. The GFX is a GTX970.

Any ideas or suggestions??

I do know that this monitor has an issue with not being able to resume from sleep mode (as in the desktop does not display which requires a reboot) when connected via the DP, it's a known bug with this particular model, maybe its not the only issue that DP causes??

..when I had the monitor, it was originally connected via the DP and it did happen to me so I then switched to using the HDMI connection and then never had any problems at all.
