Dell U2711 backlight issues

Hi,

I've just received a Dell U2711 would like some advice from others who own them.

When I turn on the monitor there is a yellow colour cast over the whole screen which fades as the monitor warms up. Compared to the U2407 next to it the screen looks dull and I've also noticed the backlight filckering on a couple of occasion.

I've calibrated both monitors but the 2711 seems dull in comparison to the older 2407.

Is this normal for this type of IPS panel or might it be faulty?

I receive U2711 **1 year warranty** today. Perfect panel, perfect quality and perfect price

, I am really happy with it.

I just sold a U2711 and it never had that issue in the 6 months I had it.
