So this has been happening in short bursts for a while now, and I thought maybe it was just gpu instability at 2d clocks, but now it's started happening quite regularly and for upwards of a minute at a time. Is it time to finally pack the old girl away or is there anything I can do?
The worst sign is that it can happen before windows even boots up (eg in bios or even when showing no signal after shutdown). Is this a thing with this monitor model? Think it is probably out of warranty by now
E: yep just over 5 yrs old so no warranty
Just for posterity, I'm testing using the hdmi port instead of DP (to get it working at 1440p over hdmi you need to create a custom resolution and set timing to CVA blank btw, otherwise it will look all fuzzy)
