Dell U2713HM Maximum resolution. Adapter required?

Hi,
I have just got this product and I cannot get the resolution of 2560x1440 to display. It wont go any higher than 1920x1080.

It is connected to a late 2012 Mac Mini using a dual link DVI cable into a Mini display port / Dvi adapter. Should this work or do I need another form of adapter such as the

Anyone able to shed light on this?

You would need the above adaptor if you want to get the full resoloution via DVI. However, the Dell should have displayport and it will be cheaper to get a mini displayport to displayport cable. This will allow you to use the full resolution with the Mac Mini.

Do ocuk provide this cable I need do you know? And that will take the full res up to 2560x1440?

Yes that's the correct cable you need and it should work fine.
