I'm about to buy this monitor but have seen reviews where a particular panel revision no. has issues with bleeding and cross hatching (A01).

Can anyone confirm the revision received from OcUK? Apparently the (A02) revision onwards is the newer panel revision which does not suffer from these issues.

Backlight bleeding has nothing to do with revisions I'm afraid and it's down to quality control and other factors. I've personally used 3 first revision samples and none had any bad issues there. There's still reports of bleed from users even on recent revisions, it's just hit and miss. But that's the same on a lot of screens really.

The cross hatching is a panel coating issue and I'm not sure they'd actually changed or updated that tbh
 
I think a lot of people confuse bleed with IPS glow on these screens. I have had a couple with no issue other than the usual IPS glow.
 
I thought the problem most often reported with these was a yellow glow down on the bottom left of the screen in addition to what you might call the normal level of white bleed you might get?

Also seen reports of visible cross hatching on the screen.

Put me off anyway.
 
I purchased and received one from OCUK a couple of weeks ago and the panel is just fine! No dead pixels and no bleed, everything is perfect on it :)
