Dell U2717D or U2715H or anything else

From what I've read, both of these are great 27" monitors. I have the U2715H and I've been looking around to add a second and found the U2717D is out now.
There are two main differences:
The U2717D uses a new panel Samsung PLS where as the U7215H uses a LG.Display AH-IPS
The U2717D has a slight re-design regarding bezel size, position of USB ports and a darker silver colour.
Reviews say that the input lag and colour reproduction on the U2717D is ever so slightly worse than the U2715H which is down to the panel, but it is still a good monitor. For your uses I think either would be fine, with the U2715H coming in at quite a bit cheaper at the moment. If you're going dual screen eventually, keep in mind that the U2715H is probably being phased out so if you want to have matching monitors they might not be available forever.
