Had my u3415w less than a week, probably got 10 hours use on it (max)

Tonight the image started to artifact really bad, every other pixel was a bad colour, naturally i thought my Fury X was overheating, turned the PC off, left things to cool down and booted back up, same issue.

Switched to another screen using the same cables, no issues, back to the u3415w, same problem again, switched to another DP cable, same issue, then to an HDMI lead, same issue, did a monitor reset, same issue.

The screen displays the OSD fine, its just any input is broken.

Anyone had issues like the above before? I feel a rather angry trip to OCUK tomorrow, you simply don't expect an almost £700 monitor to go bang within a week.

I got my U3415W a week ago and have some pretty nasty BLB but got told it won't be BLB it's IPS glow when CS didn't even see any pics -.-

When playing dark games and watching movies it's very noticeable even in light, but normal usage and on bright games it's fine.

Not sure if i do have BLB or IPS glow but it's not nice. Going up today see if i can get one with less BLB. here's a few pics.

That is awful! Mine has the IPS glow, but it's far smaller and less pronounced so you might have a mixture of both.

It is quite shameful that in the year 2015 (when I'm guessing this monitor was made) this can be allowed to happen. We put a man on the moon over 45 years ago yet we are still able to produce utter junk like this. We should all hang our heads in shame at the pitiful depths to which mankind has sunk. Today is a sad day. :(

Indeed!

OCUK proved to be easy to deal with, was nice to see the RMA process has moved on somewhat since 2005.

New monitor image is fine, minimal bleed in the corners, no dead pixels.

A world where only profit matters.

So i got my new one today, Seems to have a little bleed top left very very minor, All in all happy with it.

Glad to hear you've both had your problems sorted out. The images you posted Absorbentsolid were pretty shocking tbh. Shouldn't have to put up with anything like that for a monitor of that price.
