Are these still decent compared to some newer ones? Chap at work is selling theirs as they bought a 120hx monitor and are willing to let it go for less than half of the new price they paid 6 months ago.

So basically for under £200 is there anything better for gaming?

wouldnt say it's really a gamer orientated screen, but certainly a good deal at that price as long as there's no issues with it (dead pixels, backlight bleed etc). A very good screen still, but more aimed at colour enthusiasts (wide gamut, 10-bit support) as opposed to gaming. not to say it couldn't handle some reasonable gaming though still :)

I agree, nothing wrong with this monitor for gaming at all. Infact I bought this monitor for gaming - there's even a mode for gaming that has reduced input lag. The only thing I didn't like about this monitor is the anti-glare coating was thick so whites had a dirty grey colour. As I'm in a room with no light at all this was a waste for me.

I sold mine to a friend for £140 about a year ago, he does nothing but play games and has a big fat window in his computer room so he loves the anti glare coating and the monitor :)
