Dell UltraSharp U2715H 27

Hi ,I was going to wait for the new Acer Free sync monitor, but as I am presently borrowing a monitor from my brother, and I think he wants it back soon ,I was looking for an alternative and so am looking at the Dell UltraSharp U2715H 27 , question is really will it be good for gaming ?

it's about as good as you can get from current IPS-type panels in terms of pixel response times. the lag is also nice and low at ~7ms. Obviously it's limited to only 60Hz refresh rate, so you miss the added frame rate support of fast gaming screens. Also no blur reduction mode, G-sync, FreeSync or any other advanced gaming features.

For an available 27" IPS screen it's a good bet though for gaming.

Na, not interested in 4K just yet. Havent even got my new build sorted yet but it will probably only have one 980ti in there (wont be going SLI) so 4K is a few years away for me.
