I've been looking at this monitor to replace my ageing Dell Ultrasharp U2711, but I'm slightly concerned that the text will be tough to read without using scaling. Is text easy enough to read with no scaling at 4k on a 27" monitor?

I mainly do programming, browse the web and listen to music on my computer, but since this monitor supports 4k and HDR, I might want to watch Netflix and Amazon Prime Video as well.

Has anyone used this monitor at all? What do you think of it?

No you really can't not use scaling on any 27" 4K... even at 32" it's a bit small and 125% scaling is required. I've not known anyone to use 27" without scaling... even if you have amazing eyesight, there's no getting away from the fact that everything is very small. Would be ideal if you can get in front of any 27" 4K monitor to see for yourself, they'll all be the same in that respect.

Sorry for the delay in replying. I guess I could use display scaling in Windows 10. As long as I can fit more on the screen than my current 1440p monitor it should be OK.

One question though since I've never used display scaling. Do you need to turn off display scaling before you watch Netflix or play a game? Or does Windows 10 automatically disable display scaling when it sees you doing these tasks?

No scaling won't affect gaming or Netflix viewing.

I ended up getting a cheaper 4k monitor and oh my god. It is awesome. I have no regrets at all when it comes to the purchase. I'm running it at 125% scaling, and it just rocks. Still, have to try out the HDR mode on Netflix though.
