hi all,i currently have this http://www.dealtime.co.uk/xPF-W1900

but want a bigger lcd (24inch)

i want people's view's on both of these lcd's please.

i have been looking at this lcd from ocuk http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-001-AO&groupid=17&catid=510&subcat=

question is,would i see a big difference in the ocuk lcd comapred to my dell lcd which is over 3 year's old now.

the dell has lot's of features like picture in picture and load's of imput's which i dont use.

all i use my dell for is gaming and browsing.

i will sell my dell and put the money towards the ocuk value one.

im not interested in high resolution but all i want is a decent picture for my pc.

im running 2x asus radeon gpu in crossfire.

thanks guy's.

Don't expect anything amazing from a cheap 24" TN panel when it comes to picture quality. You'll need an IPS or PVA panel for that particular endeavour; maybe you'll have to scale down to 22" (or near that mark) for a 2209WA near your price-point.

Otherwise you're talking major expense ~£400 at that size.

If you aren't ultra fussed by image quality then people seem to swear by the 2409W as an excellent monitor as far as twisted nematic goes

well i'd buy the OCUK, and destroy the dell, it will kill you in your sleep!!!! (figuratively speaking) but thats just coz dell stole my money im sure you'll have great customer care :D :p

Yeah, and it seems the AOC 416V 'value LCD' doesn't have great image quality, even for a TN panel.

If you want a cheap 24" monitor then I would go for a better quality screen, with a 16:9 resolution instead. Like the S2409W, as mentioned.
