Hi,

I sold my Dell monitor the other week on ebay, the guy now say's that the screen has gone pink all over. We have tried all of the obvious things but it seems like the damage was caused in transit.

Anyway he want's to claim through warranty but not sure how to go about it. What serial numbers does he need and what uk number does he have to contact, do you have to fill an on-line form or something?

Thanks in advance.

This thread should have all the information you need. He shouldn't have any problems contacting dell as long as he has the works order number.

You need to call Dell on 0870 908 0500 ask for the monitor department.

You will need the serial number of the monitor, The Dell works order number from the original box (The number at the top of the Dell label) and original company name that purchased the item (Also on the Dell label)

They will usually replace is next day

I guess you work in the computer shop. Are you at work at the mo, aren't you suppose to be working? :)

My boss is out today so I'm taking full advantage. I work at Target Vehicle Hire by the way (used to be Adrian Truck Hire) :p

You may of heard of it.
