Dell warranty question

I got a Dell inspiron about a year ago, with the extra 3 year warranty and it seems to have developed a small number of bad sectors on one of the hard disk drives.

Is that something they would replace under warranty, or does the disk have to completely fail?
 
The hard drive would need to fail in the PSA diagnostics, then Dell would replace it under warranty. Make sure you backup your data in the mean time if you don't already.
