Right, not sure if anyones seen any of my other threads, but in a nutshell, my laptop is ******** after 1 day 
Tried to reinstall vista, It got up to Step 2 - Completing Installation, and it crashed.
I tried to reinstall it again, and it crashed in the same place. Ive tried several different methods and havent gotten any further. I think it needs to be looked at professionally.
I got the base warranty with my Vostro. Im assuming that Im within my rights to ask Dell to repair it as I havent done anything to void my warranty by trying to reinstall Windows have I? Whats the procedure, do they collect? Any advice or help would be appreciated
