Looking for some help wih my work kit.
Have purchased a new widescreen monitor but windows is not outputing any hdmi signal to a new monitor.
If i do a reboot, the bios config displays on both screen, so connection is working at least till it gets to windows and then it shows no hdmi signal.

old working setup - Monitor 1 and 2 connected via dvi and vga - working
New setup - Monitor 1 - Dell 23" connected via dvi, Monitor 2 - Dell widescreen connected via hdmi

Motherboard is asus h81m-plus
graphics are i5 cpu with built in hd graphics 4000
Windows 10

if i uninstall the hd graphics 4600 driver, then both displays output (clone) but at min resolution. As soon as i reinstall the graphics driver, then display on the hdmi cuts out.

Will try connecting the 23" via vga instead of the dvi. Perhaps it can't handle outputing 2 digital signals at once.

Now connected via VGA + HDMI. Still no HDMI output. Remove VGA and then still no hdmi output unless i uninstall the driver. :(

Yup def an issue with the hdmi driver. Will not output any signal using the latest drivers on hdmi using onboard graphics. Quick google suggests this issue is pretty common over last several years.

Will try getting a dvi to dp or dvi to hdmi cable to see if that helps. Otherwise a discrete graphics card i think.
