Thought I'd ask here as I'm likely to get a quicker response than e-mailing Dell support.
Basically my Dell laptop is eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 7. The website states it's the 32-bit version which isn't really acceptable as my laptop has 4 gig of RAM. Does anyone know if the upgrade program supplies you with a 32-bit and 64-bit disc as a retail copy would?

Cheers

I can't say for Dell but Packard Bell were doing 32bit Vista to 32bit W7 and 64 bit Vista to 64bit W7, I am pretty sure someone else said you get like for like with another manufacturer as well.

Ugh. My laptop came with 32-bit Vista
Didn't really bother me at the time as I just put W7 RC straight on it.

I'll try to talk them round anyway. Cheers.
