Dell XPS 13 vs Surface Pro 4

I'm not a fan of the surfaces myself. But it really depends on what you need. EG I want a tablet with the option of a keyboard or a 13 inch laptop.

You've also got the surface book to think about

It will most certainly give you portability. It is one of the best ultra portables out there. Some reviews:

MobileTechReview also has some reviews for the previous 13 and a comparison between the FHD and QHD touch screen models. These reviews are also on YouTube.

I was going to get one but the Surface Book with its larger screen (3:2 aspect) and detachable screen won me over. It's not one for you. The Surface Pro 4 with that stand and lack of ports was also discounted.

If you search ebay for Dell XPS 13 9350 you will find some very good deals from a UK company. You may need to ask how the warranty works.

Warranty is just transferred through a dell web portal.

I had a 13" xps and it was a great machine. I would go 1080p for the lack of glare, extra battery life and no issues with windows scaling.

I now have the new 15" xps with i5 quad, GTX 960m and matt screen and it is an awesome piece of kit in the size of a 14" package

seems like the dell makes more sense. just comparing few other options before hitting the button.

hmmm that would also been an option, im guessing its still quite portable ? difference price wise? any other difference that you notice?

I have had my Dell xps 13 for a few months, touch screen version, amazing so far, the only small gripe i have had it has scaling issues with java applets. But apart from that love it.

Having seen the top end XPS 13.3" model in action recently it's a very tempting buy but I think 13.3" is just a bit small for me - would prefer the same spec but with the 15.6" screen size!

I have a feeling the GTX 960M might struggle to push the 4K screen on the higher end XPS 15 models for any casual gaming needs!

My mate was playing Sup Com FA on the 13.3" quite happily though so maybe it would be fine - anyone have an idea?

seems the keyboard gets mixed reviews / some good / some not but overall i guess its ok

ill have a look at the HP but this Dell sounds like the one..

just waiting for some cash to come in

If you do buy the dell, dont forget to remove the the dodgy dell certificate lol.
