Dell XPS 1330 memory

Hi,
I bought my XPS 1330 back in December with 4GB of memory (667mhz I think). I`ve noticed the Dell website now sells the machines with up to 8GB of 800mhz memory (typical - exactly what I could do with due to using VM`s). Rather than contact Dell to upgrade, can I purchase any 2*4GB DDR2 laptop memory rated at 800mhz???? Has anyone done the upgrade? which memory did you use and where from?

I have an XPS 1330 too, I have done a couple of searches at Memory suppliers and they still say Dell recommend up to 4GB. Intel suggest 4GB too, however there is no reason why 2x 4GB will not function fully as long as you have 64bit Windows.
I guess though it will need a message to Dell if you want to be sure.
